The coastline refers to the interface between sea and land identified by the boundary between dry and wet sand. The mappings available are based on different sources, the survey carried out directly by operators with GPS equipment dating back to 1998; the survey of the Technical Charter 1:5,000 made by return on the basis of aerial photos of the Abruzzo Region Flight 2001/2002.
