Priority Pathogen Fate in Activated Sludge (09/2016 to 05/2019)

Description

The main purpose of this study is to design and perform a series of experiments at the U.S. EPA T&E Facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, to determine the fate and transport of surrogate pathogens in bio-contaminated wastewater treated in an activated sludge pilot-scale treatment plant. This dataset is associated with the following publication: Schupp, D., A. Burdsall, R. Silva, L. Heckman, R. Krishnan, J. Szabo, and M. Magnuson. Persistence of Surrogates for High Consequence Viral and Bacterial Pathogens in a Pilot-Scale Activated Sludge Treatment System. PLOS ONE.
