Price Observatory for Telecommunications & Postal Products (Pricescope)

Description

The Price Observatory for telecommunications and postal products, Pricescope, is the electronic application of EETT, which enables the search and comparison, in a simple and user-friendly way, of the retail prices of products on fixed telephony, mobile and Internet, as well as the courier services for shipments of documents and parcels within and outside Greece. In particular, the Telecommunications Price Observatory has two main functions: the search for telecommunications products on the basis of multiple criteria and (b) the comparison of retail prices on the basis of the characteristics of use recorded by the consumer. At the same time, it enables consumers to be informed about new programs, changes in the features of existing programs, additional benefits and offers, to constantly modify the criteria/elements they choose and receive differentiated results, to create personal service usage profiles, facilitating future searches and comparisons. Similarly, the Postal Price Observatory has two main functions: the search for postal products on the basis of multiple criteria and (b) the comparison of retail prices on the basis of the characteristics of use recorded by the consumer. The retrieval of the data requires that the person concerned has previously created an account and has logged in to the application. Data recovery is provided in json, xml and csv.
