Description
The practical guide to sound technology helps with the planning of farms and contributes to the uniform assessment of noise emission in permitting procedures. The emission modelling described above makes it possible to determine the sound immissions of agricultural holdings. The guide provides an overview of the necessary data and representative emissions from agricultural vehicles, equipment and farm animal groups (cattle, pigs, chickens, turkeys, geese, horses, sheep and goats). For a better understanding, background information on room acoustics, the determination of the indoor house level, the influence of the directing effect on sound radiation, ventilation systems and animal sound emissions are presented. Concrete examples illustrate the use of the guide.
