Description
The Development Report is a document that monitors the implementation of Slovenia’s strategic guidelines in economic, social and environmental development. The strategic development framework was outlined in the Slovenian Development Strategy, which was adopted by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for the period 2005-2013. At EU level, key development orientations and objectives are set out in the EU 2020 strategy. Countries must also comply with the Stability and Growth Pact and the Excessive Imbalances Mechanism. At the time of the preparation of Slovenia’s new development strategy, the Development Report presents the baseline situation and future development challenges of the country in the light of ensuring macroeconomic stability, the long-term sustainability of economic, social and environmental development and the implementation of the country’s international commitments. The publication is published in Slovenian and English.
