Description
The new dataset is the photograph updated to 31.12.2016 of the residents of our City divided by age groups, old age index (it is a demographic composition ratio, defined as the percentage ratio between the population aged 65 years and over and the population aged 0-14 years), dependency index (it is obtained by comparing the resident population of non-active age from 0 to 14 years and from 65 years and over on the population of working age from 15 to 64 years, this ratio, which is generally multiplied by percent, measures the demographic burden on the population of working age. Values above 50% indicate a situation of generational imbalance). And finally, the index of Structure of the active population (is the percentage ratio between the population aged 40-64 years and the population aged 15-39 years.
