Data on precipitation measurements and weather observations at precipitation stations
Description
The collection includes weather measurements and observations at rainfall stations.
At 7 pm, measurements of precipitation, the height of the new and the total snow cover are carried out.
All day, atmospheric phenomena are observed:
atmospheric discharges, fog, dew, salt, hail, ice, form of precipitation, storm wind, other incidents,... The duration of occurrences is also recorded.
Measurements and observations are carried out by contractual observers and the data are published on the Internet with a delay of up to 45 days. Rare stations also record 5 min. rainfall with pluviographers or electric binders. Some derived values, monthly and annual statistics, averages, rebound periods of extreme rainfall are also published. The online archive of measurements and observations has been available since 1961. (Article 27 of the Act)
Collection of measurements at rainfall stations, PSQL rainfall table_input is included in the collection of meteorological user tables.
