Measurement data at automatic meteorological stations
Description
The collection includes measurements at automatic meteorological stations.
Measurements shall be made on a continuous basis and an automatic record to the base shall be made every 30 or 10 minutes, depending on the type of station. The data are available in real time. Most stations measure the following variables:
air temperature at 2 m, moisture per 2 m, precipitation, current weather (type of precipitation).
At some automatic stations, the following variables are also measured:
pressure, global and diffuse irradiation, wind, snow cover height, soil temperature, cloudiness, visibility, duration of sun, soil temperature, temperature at 5 cm.
Measurements shall be published on the Internet with a delay of two days. Uncontrolled data are available online in real time — the last 48 hours. Some derived values, monthly and annual statistics, averages are also published. Most of the data have been available online since the beginning of the measurements, since 1993. (Article 27 of the Act)
A set of measurements at automatic meteorological stations, PSQL amp_o tables, amp_v, amp_p are included in the collection of meteorological user tables.
