Physical, chemical and biological data from the NOAA Marine EcoSystems Analysis Program (MESA) New York Bight project from 1957 through 1984

Description

This collection consists of physical, chemical, meteorological, and biological data collected for the NOAA Marine EcoSystems Analysis Program (MESA) New York Bight project, between 1973 and 1984. Additional data collected as early as 1957 may have also been used in support of the project. These data were collected in and around the New York Bight located along the coasts of New Jersey and New York, from numerous platforms including ships, boats, aircraft, fixed stations and buoys, as well as by direct human observation and collection. These data were collected by numerous organizations in support of the project.
