Electroluminescence (EL) image data. The EL files include images taken with modules biased for high and low current injection (~20% and ~80% of module short-circuit current). Each EL image was captured using a modified astronomical camera (FLI Proline, Finger Lakes Instrumentation, IDEX Health & Science LLC, New York, USA) with a 35 mm lens. Exposure time for each module was varied such that a balanced histogram image is obtained. Imaging settings are listed in the metadata file AnonDB. |

The RefIV files are the first current-voltage characteristic captured for each module, typically upon receipt and before the module is fielded. These IV curves are taken under the same conditions as the IV files listed above. |

Current-voltage trace (IV) flash test data. The IV files include current-voltage characteristics acquired in the forward direction (sweeping voltage from short circuit to open circuit) at 1-sun (1000 W/m2) with a with a AAA rated flash tester (Spire Spi-Sun Simulator 4600SLP, Spire Solar, Bedford, MA). Modules were thermally equilibrated to 25 degrees C before measurement at STC. IV characterization metadata are also listed in AnonDB. |

Metadata of photovoltaic module data, and associated current-voltage curve and electroluminescence image data. The AnonDB.csv file contains metadata for each module in the dataset, and provides information on each of the IV and EL measurements. |
