Photogrammetry-derived orthoimagery and elevation for Kivalina, Alaska, collected August 21 and 23, 2023

Description

Photogrammetry-derived orthoimagery and elevation for Kivalina, Alaska, collected August 21 and 23, 2023, Raw Data File 2024-19, provides low-altitude aerial images from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the community of Kivalina, Alaska, on August 21 and 23, 2023. We used Structure-from-Motion (SfM) photogrammetry to produce a digital surface model (DSM) and orthorectified imagery. The orthoimage and elevation data are useful for assessing riverine hazards and changes over time. This data collection is released as a Raw Data File with an open end-user license. All files can be downloaded from the Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys website (http://doi.org/10.14509/31287).
