Photogrammetry-derived orthoimagery and elevation data for Kipnuk, Alaska, collected June 21, 2022

Description

Photogrammetry-derived orthoimagery and elevation data for Kipnuk, Alaska, collected June 21, 2022, Raw Data File 2024-14, provides orthoimage and elevation data for Kipnuk, Alaska, acquired on June 21, 2022. The Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys (DGGS) collected low-altitude aerial images from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the community of Kipnuk, Alaska, on June 21, 2022. We used Structure-from-Motion (SfM) photogrammetry to produce a digital surface model (DSM) and orthoimagery. The orthoimage and elevation data are useful for assessing coastal hazards and changes over time. This data collection is released as a Raw Data File with an open end-user license. All files can be downloaded from the Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys website (http://doi.org/10.14509/31271).
