Description
Within the structural aggregates are identified the buildings, defined as homogeneous structural units and generally distinguishable from adjacent buildings by construction type, difference in height, age of construction, staggering of floors, etc. Following an inspection of post-seismic agibility, carried out using the AeDES card, the building subject of the inspection is attributed a result of accessibility. The post-seismic emergency agibility assessment is a temporary and dispatchive assessment — i.e. based on expert judgement and carried out in a limited time, based on simple visual analysis and the collection of easily accessible information — to determine whether, in the presence of an ongoing seismic crisis, the buildings affected by the earthquake can be used while maintaining reasonable protection for human life.
