Description

This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from unknown platforms in the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Aden, Indian Ocean, Labrador Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Mediterranean Sea - Eastern Basin, North Atlantic Ocean, North Greenland Sea, North Pacific Ocean, Norwegian Sea, Red Sea, South Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and Southern Oceans (> 60 degrees South) from 1972-07-27 to 1983-02-17. These data include DELTA CARBON-13, DELTA CARBON-14, DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED OXYGEN, NITRATE, NITRITE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, SIGMA-T, TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), Tritium (Hydrogen isotope), WATER TEMPERATURE, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and bottle. These data were collected by Taro Takahashi of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) and Tsung-Hung Peng of NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) as part of the Oceanic Radiocarbon Measurements, GEOSECS, TTO, SAVE and Radiocarbon and CO2 Measurements from TROPICAL ATL. STUDY (TTO/TAS) dataset. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this dataset: GEOSECS, SAVE, TROPICAL ATL. STUDY (TTO/TAS) and TTO
