Manual traffic survey years 1980-1985-1986-1991
Description
Road traffic censuses were carried out during the years 1980, 1985, 1986, 1990 and 1991 in accordance with uniform directives laid down by the then Member States of the EEC.
These censuses made it possible to detect the transit of all vehicles, during the day, at a certain point, located on both provincial and state roads.
On the roads with the most traffic, 16 surveys were carried out during the year, some of them of 12 hours and others of 24 hours, while on the roads with less heavy traffic, the solution of carrying out a single survey lasting 24 hours was adopted.
