Species richness for contiguous areas with high biodiversity
Description
Areas with an area of more than 200 hectares hosting a high biodiversity, understood as a union of the “high biodiversity” category obtained by the reclassification — into four categories (high, medium, low and zero wealth) according to the equal interval method — of the wealth maps of individual macro-environments. The areas represent the “hotspots” of wildlife biodiversity.
