Cadastre Sources of the Autonomous Province of Trento
Description
The database was born from the data of a census carried out in the years 1974-75 on a scale of 1:25,000 called the Cadastre of Water Resources. This cadastre, born as a true census of springs, had a fairly poor reliability, and varies from area to area. For many years it had remained unused and no longer updated, and the data relating to the sources were therefore collected in an uneven and autonomous way by each structure.In 1993 a working group, founded on the initiative of the Geological Service and with the collaboration of other services of the P.A.T., began a critical review of the data in order to arrive at the unambiguous coding of the sources and to attribute to them the numerous information present. It also reserves the possibility to update the data without any obligation to give notice.
