Description
Through this service it is possible to know which pharmacies are on duty or simply open in the municipalities of the province of Bolzano.
## How the shift service is performed
The way in which the on-duty service is provided by pharmacies varies depending on the size of the municipality and the number of pharmacies in the municipality itself.
Tour with pharmacist inside (only valid for the municipalities of Bolzano and Merano): the pharmacist is present inside the pharmacy even if it is closed and can be contacted by ringing the doorbell at the entrance.
Turn with telephone availability: during closing hours the pharmacist is not present inside the pharmacy, but can be contacted by phone or if necessary by ringing the doorbell at home.
Pharmacies that are on duty and for which opening hours are not represented are usually open for a few hours on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
While they are closed, the pharmacies on duty are only required to process medical prescriptions.
