Web services for air quality and radioactivity measurements

Description

The air quality assessment is carried out annually by the Provincial Environmental Agency in accordance with the criteria laid down by state legislation (Legislative Decree 155/2010). The assessment shall consist of comparing, on an annual basis, the data provided by the monitoring system with the limit values and target values set by air quality standards. Therefore, only the annual assessment is able to determine whether they are respected or not and, more generally, to offer a reliable reference framework on the real situation of air quality in our territory. The evaluation of the data collected also makes it possible to identify any situations of risk to health and the environment. The results are also a useful tool for air quality planning or the preparation of plans and programmes to protect the air as required by current legislation.
