Province of Biella — vegetation of the Elvo Valley
Description
The Greening Charter of the Elvo Valley describes the situation of forest vegetation in relation to other herbaceous, pasture and rupiculous cenosis. The study area considered includes the entire Elvo Valley (high and low valley). In order to facilitate the delimitation of the boundaries of this area, the administrative boundaries have been used, as well as for the mountain communities of the Upper and Lower Elvo Valleys. The municipalities included in the valley are: Pollon, Sordevolo, Graglia, Muzzano, Netro, Donato, Sala Biellese, Torrazzo, Magnano and Zimone for the high valley and the Serra, while they are Occhieppo Superiore, Occhieppo Inferiore, Camburzano, Mongrando, and Zubiena for the lower valley.
