Description
The solid transport dataset identifies the stretches of watercourse of the provincial territory characterised by intense solid transport. Solid transport means the set of sediments prepared, during a long preparation phase, to be removed from running waters, contributing to forming the solid transport in two ways: in suspension (turbidity), and on the bottom (highness and drag). Solid transport is represented in the MA3a cartography (Environmental Matrix); the methods of elaboration and analysis of the results are set out in the Environmental Matrice report: Physiography and Environmental Danger.
