Description
The villas and gardens “of uncommon beauty” and their areas of relevance constitute an excellent landscape and settlement in the complex system of assets characterising the provincial territory, explicitly stated in the name of the asset concerned. Diffuse in number and location, villas and gardens of “uncommon beauty” are settlements of punctual character structuring the rural landscape of the province, as well as, different by period of plant and historical matrix, they represent a persistent system of rural buildings of extraordinary value, whose formal qualification and complexity of the individual structures varies in relation to the different territorial areas that characterise the provincial territory. For these characteristics they are transversal to the different morphotypes of settlement that the PIT/PPR recognises in the territory of the province of Arezzo.
