Description
Forest and shrub matrix with a prevalence of deciduous woods (mainly oaks of roverella, cerro, chestnut trees, robinietes), mixed woods of conifers and hardwoods, reforestation of conifers, present in a widespread way in the provincial territory and corresponding largely to the forest Matrices of medium ecological quality and with high or medium connectivity of the provincial ecological network, with greater forestry uses. — Medium- and low-quality river ecosystems (not optimal water quality, alteration of riparian bands) or connection nuclei of wetlands and minor wetlands. Agricultural matrix partly intensive, or in any case medium or wide mesh, dominant in the flood plains of Val di Chiana and Valtiberina, and partly of the valley floor of Valdarno.
