Description
For the “Bicycle Network of Superlocal Interest (regional and provincial)” the PTC identifies special “safeguard corridors: – the completion of the “Arno cycleway”;- the design, promotion and construction of the tourist cycle route of the “Two Seas – cycling route called the Aretine valleys” also in a complementary form with the project for the recovery and functional redevelopment of the disused railway Arezzo – San Sepolcro; the completion of the “del Sole” cycleway that in the Arezzo section qualifies as a cycle route “of the reclamation” and the realisation of the knots and sections of interconnection with the previous routes;- the recovery and functional redevelopment of the disused railway Arezzo – San Sepolcro, as a cycle route and “green way”, pursuing the priority restoration of works of art (bridges, tunnels, etc.) and the refunctionalisation of buildings and artefacts provided for complementary services and equipment and support for use.
