Public lighting map Haarlem
Description
There is no domain in the public space where the technological
developments are as fast as public lighting. This is due to the unstoppable advance of the LED lamp as well as the increasingly widening possibilities offered by lighting technology.
As a result of these developments, the public transport policy plan of 2007 is for a
important part obsolete, as observed in the Christian Union motion Can the light go out? (or dimmed...), adopted at the Council meeting of 21 January 2016. The new policy plan aims to replace the 2007 plan, based on the pillars of innovation and sustainability. In doing so, the relationship is established with the energy saving objective set out in the Energy Agreement. In order to achieve this objective, it is proposed to continue the already deployed delivery programme.
The plan pays attention to lighting technology, sustainability, the area of masts, luminaires and lamps, to management and maintenance and to finance. The red thread through the whole can be defined as “custom lighting”. The main conclusion is that the largest gains in energy savings can be achieved by accelerating further with the completion of the 2018 delivery programme.

Content dataset
All public lighting objects are included in the dataset. The dataset was built in the early 2000s. As of 2011, the data will be updated online as part of daily management and maintenance. This also applies to project replacement and brake place. In the event of new construction, the overhaul is processed as part of the aftercare.
