Description
The Vektis Data Files Healthcare Insurance Act is based on the healthcare costs paid by the health insurers. The files are divided into the various cost categories within the basic insurance, such as medical specialist care, pharmacy, mental health care, general practitioners, aids, oral care (for children), paramedical care and maternity care. These care costs are broken down by gender, age, number of insured years, both on the first three digits of the postal code and at municipal level. The files are offered at an aggregate level so that privacy is guaranteed and data can never be traced back to individuals, health insurers and healthcare institutions. The file contains data of a total of 17 million insured persons within the Health Insurance Act.
