Total generation and distribution of electrical energy in Switzerland
Description
The total generation and distribution of electrical energy in Switzerland provides information on production, import/export and consumption of electricity in Switzerland on a monthly basis. In production, hydrological production (running power and storage power plants), generation of nuclear power plants and conventional-thermal and renewable generation are distinguished. The consumption of the storage pumps and the line losses are reported. In addition, the filling level of the storage lakes is displayed at the end of the month. The total generation and supply of electrical energy is compiled in the context of electricity statistics, which is part of Switzerland’s public statistics (legal basis: BStatG).
