Sales and power consumption values of electrical and electronic devices in Switzerland
Description
The survey and analysis of the following values by the corresponding industry associations FEA and SWICO and the consulting company Prognos AG serve to clarify the shares of the relevant groups of electrical and electronic devices in the total energy consumption of Switzerland and their course over the years. These therefore make it possible to assess the effectiveness of measures from the EnergieSchweiz programme or energy labelling (energy label) with regard to energy savings. The estimation of annual electricity consumption takes into account the energy efficiency classes of the equipment sold and the usage profiles depending on the application (i.e. household or commercial).
