Description

Inspection wells are an important part of a sewer system. These sewer wells are necessary to connect strands to each other and to make the strand accessible for inspection and cleaning. Specific applications of inspection wells can be found in situations where angular twists are desired or where the diameter of the pipes changes. In addition, a shaft can be part of an overflow, a pump or a zincer. This map shows the location of the inspection wells for the municipality of Nijmegen. This dataset is offered both as OGC:WFS and OGC:WMS services. These services contain all available geographic datasets of the municipality of Nijmegen. In addition, it is possible to download the data directly in a number of file formats.
