Ocean Current Velocity Moored Time-Series Records collected from moored Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers near Grammanik Bank Spawning Aggregation Site (SPAG) and Frenchcap Cay, United States Virgin Islands, from April 24, 2011 to September 25, 2011 (NCEI Accession 0088064)

Description

Nortek 600kHz Aquadopp acoustic current profilers were deployed between April 2011 and September 2011 on shallow water moorings located on the coastal shelf south of St. Thomas near Grammanik Bank SPAG and Frenchcap Cay, USVI. The recovered current velocity, bottom pressure, and bottom temperature time-series data are presented here in an ACII format.
