Regional units of the Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Water
Description
In order to carry out its tasks more effectively, the Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Water is organised regionally, consisting of the main unit in Ljubljana and eight sectors of the areas for the Mura, Drava, upper, medium and lower Sava rivers and the river basins of the Soča and Adriatic rivers with the sea.
The areas coincide with the division of the territory of Slovenia into individual areas for the provision of state public utilities in the field of water regulation under the Decree on the method of performing compulsory state public utilities in the field of water regulation and on concessions of these public services (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, Nos 109/10 and Rev.)
