High Conservation Value Forests in Romania
Description
Here we produce the first High Conservation Value Forest Map for the country of Romania, based on forest continuity since 1955, forest canopy structural and compositional complexity and anthropogenic pressures. We identify a total of over 700.000 ha of HCVF in Romania and highlight their spatial distribution according to their structural complexity and anthropogenic pressure.
