LABPLAS Plastic Debris Classified Satellite Images for German Bight (2016-2024) - NetCDF files
Description
Here you find the satellite-derived maps (in NetCDF format) of predicted locations of floating macroplastic aggregations between 2016 and 2024, for three areas of interest (AOI) in the German Bight, developed under the H2020 LABPLAS project. The maps are classified using the POS2IDON tool and two specific machine learning models (the UNET_overall and XGBOOST_igarss models). The classification maps are here provided in NetCDF format.
