Water Content and Bulk Density of sediments, Eastern Black Sea, DOORS Cruise 3 (MN256)
Description
The dataset contains Water content and Bulk density data of Holocene and Upper Pleistocene seafloor sediments in the Eastern Black Sea (Georgian EEZ) collected during DOORS cruise 3 (MN256), 2024. Sampling was performed using Van Veen Grab, multicorer and gravity сorer from seafloor depths from 31 m to 976 m. Water Content was determined after drying at T=105°C of 65 ml sediment samples previously frozen on board. Bulk density was determined by weighing a 65 ml wet unmixed sample.
