Response of the ant species Lasius niger to soil contamination with mulch film fragments at the micro- and nanoscale

Survival and colony size data from three ecotoxicity tests on the ant species Lasius niger performed under different microplastic exposure scenarios: (i) colony establishment in soil contaminated with microplastics; (ii) colony growth in relation to microplastic uptake with food; and (iii) long-term soil microplastic exposure on colony growth.
