Slovak exact cropped dataset
Description
The Slovak exact cropped dataset, consists of 527 images of European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.), Sessile oak (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.), Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) H. Karst.), and European silver fir (Abies alba Mill.). These were taken in Včelien, Banskobystrický, Slovakia, in June 2022. The dataset was captured from nearly half a meter distance from the trees. Each tree, in turn, is represented by a collection of 15-22 images that comprehensively capture the tree bark from different ground angles, ensuring a minimum 60% overlap between consecutive images.
