Characterisation of Social Vulnerability to the environmental hazard of heat in Logroño, and the surrounding La Rioja region in Spain, derived from national census and EU Copernicus datasets.

Raw census population and housing data, and the EU Copernicus impervious and tree cover data is not suitable for use within the vulnerability assessment. Instead, all these raw data are processed as z-scores. These z-score indicator columns are described below. Two datasets were produced as outputs. The first dataset excludes the Copernicus impervious surface and tree cover indicators. This information is extracted from the 2018 High Resolution Layer Imperviousness Copernicus Data.
