Description
The purpose of the packaging register is to maintain the packaging of the goods placed on the market, the packaging waste generated in Estonia, the reuse of packaging waste, the filling of the recovery targets and the accounting of the consumed thin and particularly thin plastic carrier bags for the performance of the tasks under the Packaging Act and the Packaging Excise Act, for monitoring purposes and for providing information to the European Commission on the consumption of packaging waste and thin and particularly thin plastic carrier bags.
