Description
The Vadja Dictionary is a memorial to the Vadja language - the closest family language of the Estonian language. Vadya native speakers are not expected to be found anymore. The villages of Vadja in Ingerimaa, north-east of Narva, have faded, and next to the last remaining break area, the port of Ust-Luga emerged with thousands of new settlers working there. Vadja's written language never came into existence.
