Geomorphology Terminology
Description
Term base of landforms containing Estonian and English terms and definitions. The basis of the base is a glossary explaining concepts not included in the textbook of general earth sciences, which is included in the UT syllabus of the foundations of earth sciences and geomorphology. The term base is limited to landforms, there are no general concepts of geomorphology. As both terms and definitions have been compiled by the compiler of the term base and formulated using different sources over time, there are no references to specific sources. Definitions are more laconic and popularly scientific than they pursue scientific accuracy. Problems with the use of terms in different languages are common knowledge and therefore this term base must also be regarded as constantly evolving.
