Limnology is closely related to many scientific fields and therefore the limnological vocabulary is rich, covering a large part of the natural and environmental sciences used. For students in particular, equivalents in five languages have been added to translate professional texts. Compilation of the glossary was started in 2016, but the current additions are constantly being added .Collaborator Toomas Kõiv (Research Fellow at the Chair of Hydrobiology and Fisheries, EEC).
