Balance of payments statistics
Description
The balance of payments is a statistical report that summarises the economic transactions of the country with the rest of the world during the period under review. The balance of payments consists of a current account which reflects the formation of income from foreign economic activities and a capital and financial account which indicates the financing of the current account, i.e. the structure of the sources of foreign financing.
Eesti Pank prepares monthly (fast-track assessment of the balance of payments) and quarterly balance of payments.
