The purpose of the packaging register
Description
The purpose of the packaging register is to keep records of packaging of goods placed on the market, packaging waste generated in Estonia, re-use of packaging, recovery of packaging waste, compliance with the targets for re-use and keeping records of thin and especially thin plastic carrier bags consumed in order to perform the functions arising from the Packaging Act and the Packaging Excise Duty Act, exercise supervision and submit to the European Commission information on the consumption of packaging waste and thin and especially thin plastic carrier bags.
