Description
The database of handicraft science terms contains general and different craftsmanship terms that have been reviewed (or are under review) by the Handicraft Science Terms Committee established in 2016 at the Department of National Handicraft of the Viljandi Culture Academy of the University of Tartu. The committee consists of lecturers, language specialists, semioticians and specialists in the respective field. Master's students and other students will also be involved. The terminology base currently includes the general terms of handicraft science, log construction terms and textile handicraft terms for sound engineering, nippling and knitting, and metal handicraft terms.
A total of 2,473 terms.
