The indicators of the survey of the assets and liabilities of Estonian households
Description
The data on the assets and liabilities of Estonian households is based on the survey of the financial behaviour and consumption habits of Estonian households (HFCS).
The HFCS shall be organised among euro area Member States on the initiative of the European Central Bank and in accordance with a harmonised methodology enabling the publication of internationally comparable statistics on assets and liabilities. Estonia has participated in the survey in 2013, 2017 and 2021. The results of Estonian studies are published in this section.
The survey collects data on the main housing, real estate, vehicles, business assets, deposits and other financial investments of households. Household loans and other liabilities, income and consumption are also recognised. In addition, the study also covers issues related to household expectations and credit constraints.
