Open data of the Estonian Education Information System - educational institutions
Description
The Estonian Education Information System (EHIS) aggregates data concerning the education system. The register contains data on educational institutions, students, teachers/teachers, graduation documents, textbooks and curricula. The oldest data are from 2004. All EHIS public data is available from the portal and via API (output formats CSV, XML, JSON). The API use guide is included as an additional file. This dataset contains activity licences for educational institutions with information on the preparation of API queries in sub-chapter 2.1. The request for open data of educational institutions enables to query educational institutions by registry code, name, EHIS ID, language of instruction, ownership form, form of study, type of educational institution, owner, location (county accuracy), form of operation. In addition, it is possible for the successor of the data to determine whether the search is carried out according to the owner and old names and among closed educational institutions.
