The purpose of the maintenance of the register of farm animals

Description

The purpose of the maintenance of the register of farm animals is to collect and systematise data on farm animals, keepers and places of business in order to exercise veterinary supervision and prevent and eradicate communicable diseases of animals and protect humans from diseases common to animals and transmitted by animals. The controller of the register is the Ministry of Agriculture and the processor is the Agricultural Registers and Information Board (PRIA).
