The duration of working life indicator measures the number of years a person aged 15 is expected to be active in the labour market throughout his/her life. This indicator is calculated with probabilistic model combining demographic data (Life tables available from Eurostat to calculate the survival functions) and labour market data (Labour Force Survey activity rates by single age group).
