Description
Total number of fishing vessels (all sizes, all types of fishing gears) of the individual EU Member States, Iceland and Norway. In general the data reflects the situation at the end of the reference year. EU data are extracted from the Community Fishing Fleet Register managed by the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Data for Iceland and Norway are supplied directly by the national authorities.
