Description
Wind speed calculated from C-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Normalized Radar Cross Section (NRCS) and wind direction from a numerical weather forecast model, using CMOD5n. The wind speed is calculated for neutrally stable conditions and is equivalent to the wind stress.
